Looking for a hen party idea? Hiring a henna tattooist offers a great form of entertainment for a group of ladies, whether you're having a relaxed night in or a night out on the town.
Unlike other events I work at when I work at Hen Parties I give the girls in the group an opportunity to try henna tattooing for themselves. This always provides a lot of fun.
There's a long tradition of Indian and Jewish brides getting henna before their wedding and it's now becoming increasingly popular amongst other groups. I offer henna services for all types of ceremony.
I also work at weddings, where I set up my stall to offer henna to the wedding guests. This serves as a great form of entertainment. People of all ages can get involved – it’s popular with men, women and children alike and serves as a great icebreaker.

I have created a Henna DIY kit for those of you that would like to learn how to do your own henna tattoos!
It includes all the tools you need to create your own tattoos. Including 2 henna cones, intructions and tips, toothpicks for straightening lines, cotton buds for correcting mistakes and many of my own most popular designs. It provides enough materials for around 15-20 small/medium designs.
This henna kit would make a great present for an creative friend, or provide wonderful entertainment for a party or a girls night in - henna is an activity where everyone can get involoved. It includes designs to suit men, women and children and the designs vary in style and difficulty.
It costs £9.50 and is avaliable through my website:
These are the next three candles I made. They have been a success with no shrinking and very little cracking. I coated them with two layers of sealer so as to firmly attach the henna to the candles. The sealer also gives the henna design a nice glossy finish.
It was hard to capture in the photo but the candles really do look great when they are burned, the design becomes completely lit up.
In response to some blog comments asking if I am planning to sell the candles- yes! I am trying to find a way of selling my candles online. I will also be able to personalise the candles to order. Please get in touch via my contact form if you are interested. I will also be selling the candles at some of the events that I will be working at in the future.
